On October 16, 2018, the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM) released MOFCOM Announcement No. 76 of 2018 and decided to file anti-dumping investigation into imports of vertical machining centers originating in Japan and Taiwan Region according to the relevant provisions of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China.

In view of the complex situation of the anti-dumping case, MOFCOM has decided to extend the investigation period of the case by six months according to Article 26 of the Anti-dumping Regulations of the People’s Republic of China, that is, the deadline will be April 16, 2020.
