Statistics of Australia Trade in April 2011
According to the statistics by Australian Bureau of Statistics, in April, the total volume Australia’s trade in goods and trade in services was 48.967 billion AUD. Among that, export was 25.282 billion AUD, up by 0.5% compared with previous month, and up by 8.54% year on year; import was 23.685 billion AUD, up by 1% compared with previous month, and up by 7.17% year on year. Trade surplus was 1.697 billion AUD, 95 million AUD less than the trade surplus of March.
In April, the export of goods of Australia was 20.868 billion AUD, up by 10.16% year on year, and import of goods was 18.73 billion AUD, up by 6.3% year on year, with trade surplus of 2.138 billion AUD. The export of services was 4.414 billion AUD, up by 1.52% year on year, and import was 4.955 billion AUD, up by 10.60% year on year, with trade deficit of 0.541 billion AUD.
From January to April, total volume of Australia’s trade in goods and trade in services was 189.239 billion AUD, up by 10.25% year on year. Among that, export was 96.837 billion AUD, up by 13.78% year on year. Import was 92.402 billion AUD, up by 6.78% year on year. Trade surplus was 4.436 billion AUD.
From January to April, Australia’s export of goods was 79.548 billion AUD, up by 17.53% year on year, and import was 72.746 billion AUD, up by 6.08% year on year, with trade deficit of 6.802 billion AUD. Export of services was 17.29 billion AUD, import was 19.655 billion AUD, up by 9.47% year on year. Trade deficit was 2.365 billion AUD.
